Nursery (Infant to 2)

Every Sunday (except Christmas & New Year's Day), childcare is provided for infants and toddlers by experienced childcare providers.

Chalice Children (ages 2 & 3)

This class is designed to nurture children's natural sense of wonder through stories, music, movement, play and art.

Spirit Play (age 4-1st grade)

This Montessori-inspired class uses story, movement, and art to give children an "existential toolkit" to help them explore the wonder and mystery of life.

Grades 2 & 3 -- Bible Tales & Legends

This curriculum introduces children to stories from Jewish and Christian scripture that are cent4ral to our culture and heritage as Unitarian Universalists. Themes include the prophetic imperative to speak out against injustice; the love of one's neighbor; the power of forgiveness; and honoring the spirit, beauty, and mystery of life.

Grades 4 & 5 -- Bible Tales & Legends

This curriculum introduces children to stories from Jewish and Christian scripture, gives an interpretation of the historical Jesus based on contemporary biblical research, and helps young people understand the core values highlighted by these stories.
