Basic Instructions

The Google Calendar for the church is actually a collection of multiple calendars that are overlayed with each other to create one view of all of the activities that are taking place at Countryside Church. A calendar was created for each room at the Countryside facility to make it easier for people to find room availability when a room request is being made.

The calendar can be viewed in 3 ways: a MONTH view, a WEEK view, and an AGENDA view. You can toggle between the views by clicking on the blue tabs labeled "month", "week", or "agenda", located on the upper right side of the calendar.

To change the dates, click on the forward arrow or reverse arrow icons shown at the top, left part of the calendar as highlighted below.

And to see which room calendars are being displayed in your view of the calendar, click on the small blue triangle that's to the right of the "agenda" tab. A window will be displayed with check boxes next to each of the calendars being displayed. You can toggle the check box to add or remove the specifc calendar from view.

To view details of a particular event, click on the individual item. All of the relevant details about the meeting or event will appear.
