Lights, Camera------Sound!!!! SOUND is the key word here – we really need more people to monitor the sound system during Sunday worship services, starting NOW. We also need someone to coordinate the sound schedule. Instructions and cheat sheets provided. If you have a talent/interest/curiosity about how our sound system works and feel this is a way you can contribute to the worship service in a very meaningful way, please call Lisa Christensen, 847-808-1615, or the church office.

Childcare Position Available. Countryside Church is seeking a second childcare provider for Sunday services (40 Sundays/year) and 3-4 weeknights/month, starting in September. Ideal candidate will possess experience with children ages birth-10 (especially infants and toddlers), CPR and/or babysitting certification, and own means of transportation. Eventual hiring will be based on successful background check. We are seeking a non-Countryside member for this position. § Developing Your Network: August 21, 9am to Noon, Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 W. Park Street, Arlington Hts. Beth Coddington, President of NuVenture Search Partners Inc., will help us better understand how to create an active and dedicated network of key career enhancing contacts. She’ll cover: Building a dynamic network, how to move from contacts to relationships, overcoming shyness, reaching and connecting with search people and more.

§ Strategies in Building Optimism: August 23, 7 to 9:15 pm, St. Hubert Ministry Center, 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates. Debra Desmond, Certified Executive Career Coach, will provide us an opportunity to better understand how to build on our strengths and increase our optimism persona.
