The Minister's Blog

The Reverend Hilary Thursday August 19, 2010

Animal, Vegetarian, Ministerial

It's a muggy August day.  I feel blessed to be logging into my blog, at last.  It was a vibrant summer and so often I wanted to post -- but I was waiting until I returned from Study Leave.

I was grateful to return to a congregation that had been working diligently all summer, continuing to become a more effective, clearer church.

I am aware that we live in a challenging world and during challenging times.  I want to create, with this Blog, a place where I can reflect on these times in a way that can honor the harsh realism while offering ways to live in, have a positive effect upon, and redefine hope through history.

For a while I will be learning how to work with this blog.  Please be patient -- but tune back in -- I am looking forward to this means of communication.
