Envisioning a world in which we all value and protect the environment on which our lives and communities depend.

Do you share our vision?

This is an exciting time for our committee! We are actively pursuing Green Sanctuary accredition. This UUA program encourages our congregation to grow in appreciation and care for the natural world and all who depend upon it.

The Commitee will champion and guide the process by creating and supporting programs and activities in four areas:

• Worship and Celebration
• Religious Education
• Sustainable Living
• Environmental Justice

Currently, we are in the process of developing 12 projects covering each of the four areas listed above. There will be opportunities for everyone to become involved. Activities will include an Earth Day celebration, habitat restoration, gardening, donations of garden produce to the local food pantry, educational events, and many others.

Everyone is warmly welcomed to participate in our meetings and activities.
